What better way to live - "on the pulse of life"! I want to die fully alive. I know that's sort of a cliche - and probably someone else famous wrote it or said it. But as the months turn into years I wonder sometimes what really does put me closest to the heartbeat of my own life rather than running recklessly or frantically to someone else's pace or a race that is no race at all.
I think the easy answer is "your desires." I'm not sure exactly how the hard answer is different.
