...if I had made my New Year's resolution to become more negative. Being positive serves up challenges I have found more difficult that I had first imagined. My job, once again, seems to be in jepardy, or at the minimum, I'm being called into question about my abilities. There are many sordid details behind this which have little to do with my abilities and more to do with shady dealings that administrators have made, possibly including, but not limited to the firing of a previously tenured teacher, sexual harrassment, and unclear communication from the top down by administration detailing jobs that were taken away but then renigged and perhaps will be taken away once again. The fun part is that I still don't know anything for sure. Do lawyers have to put up with this? Do VPs and salesmen have to fight for their jobs on a yearly basis? Must doctors and politicians continually prove themselves for pay that seldom covers what a family needs to live on? But wait... I'm trying to remain positiive. I guess I should just take my fat cat salary and give them what they want, an easy education where nobody has to feel challenged or pushed.
