Why are you doing this?

Seriously, most people's response would be something like this:

Question: So why are you marrying him?
Answer: Because he's such a great guy.
Q: So it's like when you are walking down a particular street. You walk down the street because it's a great street?
A: No, it's because it takes me where I need to go and it's prettier.
Q: So he takes you need where you need to go and he's good looking. So he's like a handsome chauffeur?
A: You're being silly.
Q: Am I? You're the one marrying somebody without knowing why.
A: (no answer)

Even the goofball in WEDDING CRASHERS had a sappy, romantic answer: something about a counter point in another's soul.
