Despite being a great big hole in mobile service, the mountains of West Virginia are lush and alive. They reminded me of those times when I felt really secure as a kid by being surrounded by mountains or a snow fort I had built.
Where does that feeling go when we become adults?

It's there. But hidden by what we pretend is important, but is not really all that full of value. A lot of it has to do with money, or percieved social value of certain relationships.
I wonder if we're better off not being aware of it so much and if it would make life too painful to be aware of all of the time?
