Question of the Day

How much does boredom get us into trouble?... Meaning, how do we find trouble when we'd be better of thinking nothing at all?

there is no way to not be thinking, unless we consider that one is not alive - meaning that thinking is no longer a possible function from what we understand regarding life and death. so, just think and designate the thoughts that are worthwhile; work with those. enjoy the possibilities that may arise from the "trouble" thoughts, but do not entertain them any further.

Interesting... I don't know if I follow this statement: meaning that thinking is no longer a possible function from what we understand regarding life and death. To clarify, I meant conscious thinking, not thought as in a philosophy. I'm pretty sure that we couldn't live civilly without that, while consciously intended thought may be and may be healthy to shut down. Just a thought...
