Day Two. Still happening...

Early this morning (2 a.m.), I was at my computer dutifully typing away, trying to get a photo posted on this blog. (On a side note, it worked, for however brief a period of time.) I set my bare foot down on the floor only to feel water under my foot. Mind you: I live two stories up! Rain had found its way under and over the sill and edges of the windows, down the wall, across a short span of room and nearly soaking a power adapter. Not fun, nor was it going to be an easy clean up. This morning I cleaned the room, including vacuuming and cleaning the floors. This all lead to a major cultural question: Why in the hell do we need to clean so much? What would happen if we didn't?
